Asian Box - Carvings of Coconut / Pine Trees, Dwellings, Farmer, Ox & Mountain

A defined deep cut carved Asian Box, of scenes reminiscent of South East Asia.

The top has a foreground scene of Coconut & Pine Trees, Dwelling, Farmer with Ox, and Rice Paddies in the horizon, given to a Volcanic Mountain. The front bottom as well as the two sides gives further hints at a land between that of tropical, to a much different climate as would be found in northern Japan. Set with additional carvings of dwellings, fields and mountain.
