Large Metal Casted Tiger by K&O Company
Product Description
A masterfully stout and impressively powerful Bronze Styled Tiger Sculpture, made in days past by the K&O, Kronheim & Oldenbusch Metal Novelties Company.
The overall detail given in portraying this magnificent Tiger shows the love the artists had when crafting their work.
From the French bronze patinated finish to the gleaming white fanged teeth, set to a red colored mouth and added upon by green eyes, really tells of dedication.
The Tiger is said to be of a spelter casting and done at a time when K & O also employed other metal types in their creations, such as bronze. Celluloid paint was discontinued early in the 1930s for the more popular plastics that were being developed and unknown what was used for the teeth.
Made of a high quality casting and is stamped on its underside with a circled K & O Co, circa 1900s-1930s.

Product Quantity: Only 1 item in stock.
Condition: Very Good, has a slight scratch mark on top area, unnoticeable given the overall beauty this cast holds. Actually hard to believe its not bronze, seeing the mark showing a continued sparkly golden coppery color and not a suspected gray
puts away the magnifying glass. But regardless of a flaw, being nearly a century in the making it can easily take ones gaze quickly its way, see photos.
