Emerald Green Glass 3-Slotted Ashtray/ Bowl

Mid-Century artisan's handcrafted blown 3-Slot Glass Ashtray.

Uniquely uncommon with age and wear, this once very popular ashtray still holds its beauty as it did long ago when created. Would go nicely with Murano even Viking art glassware of similar style, perfect for holding rings, to an artist paint brushes.

It does have wear as described in ‘Condition,’ yet its value as an art form of well over half a century, and from an era unlike that of today, gives cause for its being offered here unsigned.

Condition: Good, fairly overall blemish free, with no breaks, chips, or cracks. Shows in the upper rim area spots with light scuffing or abrasion marks* and sparse scattering of minor short scratches, a flea bite and flecks, with some air bubbles throughout. Base being of a flat grounded cut and having no protection over time has acquired scratch marks, from movement upon tabletops, etc.

May not be the best example found of this style (if any exist similar at all) yet overall holds its good looks admirably. The description of condition as described could possible to be finished out and corrected to when having been new, should it be sought. It is offered here with an understanding of being for the most parts possibly restorable (polished) by a craftsman, such repair shown on web sites can take as little as 15-30 minutes ... or more. Though it’s unknown what effort would be required in accomplishing this and with the bottom base likely left as-is.

*Many cannot be felt by a fingernail but are visible.
