Large Ceramic Bear with Caught Salmon

Forever froze in time; a large Bear has an attached Salmon, which is set to be caught with gapping mouth held wide. This as the bear faces forward, head tilted down to its right, while the Salmon seemingly itself races ahead, arching as it’s about to be pluck from its native waters.

The coloring is well done and compliments the artist’s ability in defining their work. Bear and Salmon have been joined and each is signed by 'V. Miller 1974,' the Salmon has an additional mark '1974 x M.'

At 43 years of age it shows little wear and began its display in an era of change from the turbulent '60s.
